After School Group Leader - Youth Activities

Join CORA Services as an After School Group Leader - Youth Activities, and help empower children to thrive through compassionate and high-quality programming. As part of our Community Services Division, you’ll be a key player in our Out-of-School Time (OST) programming.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, positive relationships with a small group of students through mentoring.
• Facilitate fun and educational activities, including Social Emotional Learning, STEM projects, and outdoor games.
• Implement a curriculum that focuses on literacy and social-emotional development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program time and on field trips.
• Collaborate with other staff to create a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2,500 hours of experience working with children (after-school, camp, classroom, babysitting, or volunteer settings, etc.).
• Commitment to professionalism, safety, and making a difference in the lives of young people.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in after-school/OST, camp, or recreational settings.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).

Schedule

All positions are Monday to Friday.

• After School: 2:15pm - 6:00pm

Pay

$18/hour
