After School Bus Driver

About the role

LeafSpring School at Three Chopt's School-Age facility located in Henrico, VA, is currently seeking a mini bus driver to safely transport children in our programs. LeafSpring School offers a wide selection of programs including our afterschool recreation program.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers
• Performs required accountability procedures
• Assists students in the loading and unloading process
• General cleanliness and upkeep of the bus
• Reporting mechanical issues, defects or items of concern to proper member of team

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Must be over the age of 21
• Have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)

Schedule

Part‑time position, Monday to Friday 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, with additional hours available for field trip coverage and extracurricular activities.
