After-Hours Care Coordinator

About the role

The On-Call Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring our clients receive uninterrupted care outside of regular office hours. This position is responsible for managing caregiver call-offs, coordinating replacement coverage, communicating with clients and caregivers, and making real-time decisions to support safe and reliable care.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to caregiver call-offs and manage shift scheduling during after-hours.
• Secure replacement caregivers for open shifts to ensure uninterrupted client care.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with caregivers, clients, and management.
• Document all call-offs, schedule changes, and shift coverage details accurately.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, HCA, PCA preferred but not required).
• Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
