Responsibilities
- Monitor medication compliance and set up IV therapy, injections, and provide necessary education for administering injections.
- Ensure compliance with special diets, weight monitoring, and the utilization of intravenous nutrition such as TPN and tube feeding.
- Provide instruction on the use of inhalers, aerosol machines, oxygen, and the proper care of all respiratory equipment.
- Offer post-operative care, monitoring chest pain, blood pressure, edema, and educate patients on signs and symptoms of further cardiac issues.
- Conduct dressing changes, wound vac therapy, assess wound healing, and identify signs of infection. Provide dressing supplies and order wound vacs as needed.
- Inform patients about the disease processes of various conditions including COPD, CHF, diabetes, renal failure, MS, osteoporosis, and more.
- Care for infants and children with a variety of diagnoses and special needs, performing skills such as PICC care, tracheostomy care, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, nasogastric or enterostomy feedings, medication administration, and providing education to parents/caregivers.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio. A background in home health care or related fields is preferred, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
Our team works flexible hours to accommodate the diverse schedules of our patients, typically ranging from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Some positions may require evening or weekend coverage, depending on patient needs.
