AFSIM M&S Analyst

Group W provides wargaming, warfare modeling and simulation, software development, data analytics, and operations research/system analysis support to the national security mission.
About the role
Group W is the developer and maintainer of the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM), the authoritative M&S tool accepted by the Joint Analytic Community for analysis of theater-level, multi-domain, joint warfare. We have an immediate need for an AFSIM M&S Analyst to provide onsite support out of Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
- Employ in-depth knowledge of modeling/operations research techniques to inform a variety of analyses and wargames using AFSIM.
- Apply skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, and regression analysis.
- Develop and execute analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses at the engagement level.
- Develop and execute mission-level representations and analyses of U.S., allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation.
- Advise other operations research analysts, scientists, and engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of total experience.
- 1+ years of AFSIM experience OR 1+ years of general M&S experience and 3+ years of military operations planning.
- Good at study planning/executing.
- Strong desire to expand modeling/simulation expertise in AFSIM.
- Works well in collaborative environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Pay
Salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $145,000.00/Yr.
