AFSIM Analyst
About the role

Responsibilities
- Developing models and performing analysis on sensor, tracker, communication, and weapon systems for mission-level simulations using AFSIM.
- Conducting statistical analysis to find trends, assess risk, and document uncertainties in simulation results.
- Collaborating with our software development team on improving our custom tools, including designing efficient data representations for large datasets, testing accurate interactions across interdependent algorithms, and automating production analysis pipelines.
- Engaging in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward independent initiative.
- Presenting your work through briefings to both technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or another related discipline.
- Have at least two years of experience working with AFSIM to conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Have experience conducting statistical analysis to identify trends and draw conclusions.
- Be highly skilled in learning new and challenging topics.
- Be able to effectively work in a highly collaborative environment and communicate complex ideas to a variety of partners.
- Be proficient to fluent in a programming or scripting language such as MATLAB or Python.
- Be able to obtain the associated required Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
- Be able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance.
Qualifications
- Meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have:
