Affordable Housing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the development process, including site selection, feasibility analysis, entitlements, underwriting, and financing execution.
  • Aid in preparing funding applications, financial models, due diligence materials, and project reporting.
  • Coordinate with consultants, lenders, government agencies, and internal teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain awareness of affordable housing programs, market trends, and financing opportunities to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal affordable housing regulations and LIHTC requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, construction, and asset management teams to help maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide mentorship and support to Analyst-level team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in affordable housing, multifamily development, or real estate finance.
  • Working knowledge of LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and affordable housing financing structures.
  • Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Argus, Yardi, Procore, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
