About the role

As an Affordable Housing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing maintenance and repairs, and working closely with residents to address concerns and improve living conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee property management and maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state housing regulations
  • Manage resident relations and address complaints
  • Coordinate with contractors for repairs and improvements
  • Develop and implement property improvement plans
  • Conduct inspections and ensure safety standards are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or related field
  • Strong knowledge of housing laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Knowledge of community development and affordable housing initiatives

Skills

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Proficiency in computer software such as Excel and Word

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
