About the role
As an Affordable Housing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing maintenance and repairs, and working closely with residents to address concerns and improve living conditions.Responsibilities
- Oversee property management and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with federal and state housing regulations
- Manage resident relations and address complaints
- Coordinate with contractors for repairs and improvements
- Develop and implement property improvement plans
- Conduct inspections and ensure safety standards are met
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or related field
- Strong knowledge of housing laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of community development and affordable housing initiatives
