Affiliate Instructor Pool - St. David's School of Nursing
About the Role
St. David’s School of Nursing seeks to develop a pool of candidates to serve as Affiliate Instructors in our undergraduate program. Affiliate Instructors provide supervision of student clinical learning experiences, including instruction of procedures, health assessments, and administration of medications. Affiliate Instructors may only perform supervision when a qualified and experienced faculty member is physically present, and supervision must follow appropriate professional regulatory board rules and regulations.
Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, as well as continuity of funding and departmental/school/program needs.
This posting is for potential openings in the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Please note that this is a pool faculty position; applicants will be available for consideration should a need arise.
