Adjunct Instructor, Nursing Clinical (POOL)

Essential Duties

• Participates in clinical advising of nursing students
• Participates in development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of curriculum as indicated
• Maintain professional competence and environment
• Participate in professional development activities is required
• Work cooperatively with peers while supporting the mission and vision of the College
• Adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the College nursing program

Typical Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Two years of clinical experience in an Acute Care setting within the last five years, Must hold a current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, a Nurse Licensure Compact State, or to be eligible for licensure (must have a temporary license before employment), Current Healthcare Provider BLS (American Heart Association), Current immunizations and annual tuberculosis screening, Current medical/surgical, ED, OB, or critical care experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred, Five years of clinical experience, Teaching experience in a community college

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
