About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role based at Mooi Makeup & Beauty Studio in Denver, CO. The Aesthetician performs a variety of skin care treatments, including facials, peels, and customized regimens aligned with client needs and studio standards. The role involves providing hair removal services, recommending appropriate products and treatments, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess skin concerns, explain procedures, and create positive, professional experiences that encourage repeat visits.
• Perform skin care treatments, including facials, peels, and personalized treatment plans.
• Provide hair removal services (e.g., waxing, threading, or sugaring) using safe application practices.
• Recommend and support retail sales of products and services that align with client needs and studio standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the studio team on service offerings and stay up to date with new techniques and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in skin care services, including facials, peels, and personalized treatment plans.
• Hands-on experience with hair removal techniques (e.g., waxing, threading, or sugaring) and safe application practices.
• Background in cosmetology or aesthetics with relevant training or licensure as required by Colorado state regulations.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen to client concerns, and build lasting relationships.
• Comfort with sales activities, including recommending products and services that align with client needs.
• Attention to detail, adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, and ability to maintain a professional workspace.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including peak hours, and collaborate effectively with other beauty professionals.
• Prior experience in a spa, salon, or beauty studio environment is preferred; multilingual communication skills are a plus.
