About the Role

The Aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Forefront Dermatology. This position actively promotes/sells cosmetic products, pricing, and services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options available.
• Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor and schedule appropriate follow up and treatments.
• Assist with development of advertising and promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited aesthetician program or commensurate experience.
• 1+ years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.
• Able to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.
• Able to understand physician’s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.
• Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Able to display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor and compassionate caring in dealing with others is required.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $21- $25 per hour + commission. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training.
