About the role
This is a part-time, on-site role responsible for delivering high-quality aesthetic treatments and exceptional client service. The Aesthetician performs skin care analysis, facial treatments, and rejuvenation procedures as permitted by licensure, and supports medical-grade sessions under clinical guidance. The role involves client consultations, treatment documentation, and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform skin care analysis, facial treatments, and rejuvenation procedures
- Support medical-grade aesthetic sessions under appropriate clinical guidance
- Conduct thorough client consultations and document treatment plans
- Maintain treatment rooms and equipment in accordance with safety and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with medical and wellness professionals to support integrated care
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and product recommendations
- Promote services through professional interactions and in-spa events
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records and photo documentation
Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings
- Current aesthetician or cosmetology license in the state of Indiana, or eligibility to obtain required licensure
- Proficiency in aesthetic treatment techniques including HydraFacial, Glo2, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplane, etc.
- Foundational understanding of skin anatomy, contraindications, and treatment safety
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with aesthetic technologies
Qualifications
- Experience with advanced skincare procedures such as microneedling and laser treatments (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in a spa, dermatology, or aesthetic clinic setting (preferred)
- Commitment to patient safety and effective practice protocols
