Responsibilities
- Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI).
- Wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
- Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
- Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
- Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
- Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of composite materials.
- Manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with your hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Level I Pay Range: $22.25 - $26.25 DOE (FT Non-Exempt) + Extra 10% Shift Differential
Level II Pay Range: $24.25 - $28.25 DOE (FT Non-Exempt) + Extra 10% Shift Differential
Schedule
2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00PM-1:30AM; Monday - Thursday
