Responsibilities

  • Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI).
  • Wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
  • Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
  • Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
  • Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
  • Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of composite materials.
  • Manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with your hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Level I Pay Range: $22.25 - $26.25 DOE (FT Non-Exempt) + Extra 10% Shift Differential
Level II Pay Range: $24.25 - $28.25 DOE (FT Non-Exempt) + Extra 10% Shift Differential

Schedule

2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00PM-1:30AM; Monday - Thursday
