Aerospace Production - Laminator I - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI).
• Wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
• Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
• Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
• Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude, manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with your hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or training in composite manufacturing and aerospace industry are a plus.

Pay

Level I Pay Range: $24.48 - $28.88 DOE (FT Non-Exempt) 10% Shift Differential Included

Schedule

2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00PM-1:30AM; Monday - Thursday
