About the Role
The Lamination Technician removes air from wet glass using a brush and/or roller, applies layers of wet glass in various applications, and installs different parts prior to glass work.
Responsibilities
- Performs pattern cutting and rolling fiberglass
- Properly uses resin and putty
- Installs boxes, foam tanks, and stringers
- Grinds out small imperfections
- Performs general housekeeping
- Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (minimum degree required)
Skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Proficient in using drills and hand sanders
- Able to follow instructions
Physical Requirements
- Light lifting (under 20 lbs)
- Light carrying (under 20 lbs)
- Moderate lifting (21-59 lbs)
- Moderate carrying (21-59 lbs)
- Straight pulling and pushing
- Repeated bending and reaching over shoulders
- Use of fingers

- Specific visual requirements, including ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color
