About the role

The Assembly Technician role is available for all levels of experience, focusing on hands-on work in a supportive environment. Tasks include production assembly, engineering assembly, receiving support, packaging, and shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Performs mechanical assembly according to verbal and written instructions including fastening, bonding, and riveting
  • Sets up and executes tests as needed
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Uses chemicals, adhesives, and solvents as required
  • Tracks hardware using the ERP system (Epicor)
  • Assists with packaging and shipping of hardware and equipment
  • Observes and adheres to safety and security procedures

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools, strong mechanical aptitude
  • A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Typically 2+ years experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrates an exceptional work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn
  • Moderate physical and repetitive work, standing for extended periods, use of stairs, occasional heavy lifting
  • Valid driver's license
  • U.S. Citizen

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
  • Previous experience in a high-paced, challenging work environment with high attention to detail
