Entry Level Aerospace Technician
Stoke Space is seeking to hire an Entry Level Aerospace Technician (ELAT) in our new Kent facility.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can grow with us while assisting with a variety of tasks across the organization. This includes working with and supporting the operations and manufacturing groups, and having the opportunity to learn new skills in machining, fabricating, assembly, and other manufacturing disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Support the operations and facilities departments during the first three months.
- Graduate into a technical function, working with the manufacturing teams to choose one of two technical pathways: assembly or fabrication.
- Spend six months, in two three-month rotations, learning new technical skills with the manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- HS Diploma (or equivalent) completed or in-progress
- 18+ years old
- Safe working habits with attention to detail
- Experience with hand tools and mechanical assemblies
- Passion for learning new skills and desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight space
- Able to withstand repetitive movements, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects

Pay
Hourly rate: $25.00

ITAR Requirements
