Aerospace Anodize Operator - 1st Shift
Position Summary
Employees in this position use a variety of methods to process parts in preparation for plating and other coatings. The operators perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. This is a trainee operator position in our Anodize department.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced Anodize Operator to complete work and prioritize tasks for On-Time delivery.
- Follow technique card, customer Purchase Orders and drawings, and instructions from experienced Anodize Operators to prepare and process parts; prepare, understand, and document technique cards.
- Prepare parts prior to operations including racking; use proper tooling and fixtures, when applicable.
- Legibly sign off on work once completed and Operator Self Verification inspection has occurred.
- General review of paperwork and Operator Self Verification inspection of job to ensure all previous operations were completed.
- Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors.
- Knowledge of pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements.
- Familiar with Quality Assurance requirements & rework procedures.
- Be familiar with engineering drawing notations.
- Be familiar with the safety precautions & know how to avoid injury to personnel.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and be eligible for the FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.

- Basic understanding of safety protocols.

Pay
Salary Range For Position $ 21.00 - $ 40.00. The pay range and total compensation package listed above is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Your pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to your relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other employees. Schedule
Normal Shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.).
