Leveraging students’ passion for sports and entertainment, Learn Fresh inspires STEM learning and essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Programs are specifically aimed at students from low-income communities, aiming to provide them with a quality and engaging education.

About Learn Fresh
Learn Fresh is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students with essential STEM skills. Our flagship program, NBA Math Hoops, develops students' algebra readiness and strengthens skills like self-regulation and executive function. Over 1.5 million students have benefited from our programs, which include MLB Players STEM League, MLS STEM Goals, and EcoTour.

Learn Fresh is seeking accomplished professionals to join our Advisory Council. Members will play a pivotal role in expanding awareness of Learn Fresh and its programs internationally.

Purpose of the Advisory Council
The Learn Fresh Advisory Council is composed of experienced professionals passionate about leveraging students’ love of sports and entertainment to ignite their STEM learning and cultivate essential life skills.
Qualifications
- Dedicated to Learn Fresh’s mission and values
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with fundraising, partnership development, or nonprofit advocacy
- Eager to promote Learn Fresh and its initiatives
Responsibilities
- Serve a two-year term
- Serve as a thought leader and strategic advisor to Learn Fresh staff and Executive Board
- Dedicate at least 10 hours per year to Council activities, including fundraising, mentorship, and/or event participation
- Host or support at least one networking or donor engagement events annually
- Introduce and cultivate relationships with at least five potential donors or strategic partners
- Make a philanthropic give/get commitment of $2,500 dollars annually in support of Learn Fresh
