Advice RN - Nurse Advice Call Center

Role Overview

This position is for a Call Center Advice RN responsible for triaging incoming healthcare calls, assessing needs, and providing appropriate guidance, including referrals to providers and community resources. The role involves educating callers on immediate health advice, risks, and wellness behaviors, under the supervision of a manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assess caller needs and provide suitable healthcare options
• Facilitate referrals to primary providers, healthcare facilities, and community resources
• Educate callers on health risks, advice, and prevention strategies

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current California RN license
• 2+ years of case management or acute care experience; 7+ years of nursing preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
