Advertising Review Specialist
Major Duties
- Review advertising and sales literature, in accordance with departmental processing standards, for compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Review Annual and Semi-Annual Reports to determine the need for additional disclosure statements and draft disclosure statements, where appropriate.
- Cook up FINRA filings of advertising/sales literature.
- Interact with examiners and supervisors of FINRA advertising review office. Resolve issues with the FINRA, where appropriate.
- Achieve and maintain technical expertise and professional competence with regard to regulatory rules, issues and interpretations that may impact the preparation and approval of advertising or marketing material for Federated initiatives.
- Communicate directly with marketing departments in developing and revising advertising/sales literature and executing follow-up to FINRA comments to ensure compliance.
- Communicate FINRA review issues to compliance and legal personnel on an on-going basis.
- Advise marketing and business personnel with regard to regulatory issues as questions or regulatory initiatives arise.
- Conduct research, as necessary, in connection with application of advertising/sales literature rules and regulations.
- Liaison with Compliance and Legal staff for interpretation of new or re-focused legislation.
- Prepare and maintain sales literature handbook and materials.
- Cook up sales literature file maintenance.
- Assist with special projects, as requested.
HOURS/LOCATION
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)

PAY
