About the Role

The Advertising Coordinator serves as the liaison between advertising firms and internal clients to assist in fulfilling marketing and advertising objectives. This role ensures marketing goals and deadlines are met while keeping clients informed of project status.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the effective management, tracking, and reporting of advertising/marketing projects, and provide support to the overall management team.
  • Ensure all details of clients' marketing and advertising efforts are communicated to and understood by designated casino department heads, managers, and the internal ad agency.
  • Ensure all marketing channels are current, with changes scheduled and planned in advance of placement.
  • Adhere to the purchasing process and check requisition process as outlined by ACBCI internal guidelines.
  • Clearly communicate project objectives to the internal agency partner through work orders, emails, and verbal communications.
  • Clearly communicate project status to internal clients.
  • Maintain and update all marketing/advertising-related project activity reports and files as required by the Advertising Department.
  • Perform essential office and clerical duties, including filing, paperwork, reports, reception, and telephone tasks.
  • Create and maintain marketing/advertising reports.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 3-5 years of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service and client relations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, and MS Word, with basic knowledge of web and social media.
  • Previous gaming experience preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand, move, and work throughout the office and properties, including walking up to 1 mile and climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
  • Typically housed in an office environment with moderate noise levels, though noise may escalate in the casino environment.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
  • Sufficient dexterity to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
