Advertisement for the post of EDP Manager

The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is recruiting for two Research Fellow positions to work on a project for the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" with NITI AAYOG. The position is initially for six months, renewal subject to performance and fund availability.

About the role

The successful candidates will contribute to the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" under the guidance of NITI AAYOG. They will be expected to conduct literature reviews, analyze data, and produce reports and presentations as part of the project.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on macroeconomic models and oil price shocks
• Analyze data related to oil prices and their impact on the Indian economy
• Develop and refine economic models to simulate the effects of oil price shocks
• Prepare and present findings in the form of reports and presentations

Requirements

• PhD in Economics or a related field with a strong background in econometrics and macroeconomics
• Experience in conducting empirical research and analyzing economic data
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
