The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is recruiting for two Research Fellow positions to work on a project for the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" with NITI AAYOG. The position is initially for six months, renewal subject to performance and fund availability.

About the role

The successful candidates will contribute to the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" under the guidance of NITI AAYOG. They will be expected to conduct literature reviews, analyze data, and prepare reports as part of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews on macroeconomic models and oil price shocks
  • Analyze data related to oil price shocks and their impact on the Indian economy
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on the analysis
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

Requirements

  • PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant research experience
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
