Advanced Surgical Assistant - Paramedic License

Responsibilities

• Help receiving and discharging patients, reviewing medical charts
• Help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment and organization of the surgical center
• Cultivate a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, preparing them for treatment, and obtaining their dental records.
• Provide chair-side assistance and provide pre and post-operative care.
• Prepare materials for impressions, take dental x-rays, as directed by a dentist.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare tray-cases of instruments for procedures, and educate patients on postoperative and general oral health.
• Handle all substances in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
• Be familiar and comply with all Health and Safety rules and guidance, infection control.
• Perform additional office duties as needed, including scheduling and receiving patients, ordering supplies, and records management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned per state regulations or licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed/certified Paramedic
• Willingness to learn our processes and procedures
• Ability to partner with our Doctors to assure the best possible patient care
• All candidates must possess valid certifications that comply with applicable state laws.

Pay

The anticipated range for this position is $32 - $35/hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualification.

Schedule

Three day work weeks at a Full time Status.
