Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C/ARNP) - Acute Care Surgery (Renton, WA) - Independent Contractor

About the role

Join an Acute Care Surgery team providing 24/7 support to the hospital.

Contractor (1099) position with no minimum shift requirement.

The team includes 7 general surgeons and 2 APPs.

10-hour shifts, 7am-5pm.

Flexible schedule with opportunities for up to 9 shifts per month.

No night shifts.

Day shifts covered by 2 surgeons and 1 AP.

Typical team census: 15-25 patients.

Average OR cases per 24h: 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding
• Admissions
• Consults
• Beside procedures
• Post-operative clinic
• Assisting in surgery (including robotic surgery)

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority.
• Prior surgical assisting experience.
• Prior inpatient care experience.

Benefits

Compensation: $882.87 per 10-hour shift.

Schedule

10-hour shifts, 7am-5pm.
