Surgery Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider

About the role

Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons
Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care
100% inpatient
Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period
Day, night and float shifts required
Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement
Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor

Responsibilities

• Admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients
• Collaborating with Surgical Residents on trauma cases
• Performing procedures in the trauma bay and on the floor

Requirements

This is an employed position with HCA Healthcare

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program
• Adequate certification exams
• Experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting
