About the role
The role involves providing advanced cardiovascular and thoracic healthcare in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients through history, observation, and examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies
- Managing patient care with prescriptive authority or referrals
- Documenting healthcare delivery per standards and policies
- Participating in staff and student education
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program, board-certified by the respective body
- Physician Assistant: NCCPA board-certified and licensed by the Texas Medical Board
- Nurse Practitioner: Prescriptive authority, board-certified by AANPCB or ANCC, and licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Relevant education and experience may substitute for formal qualifications

- Teamwork with physicians and healthcare providers
Pay
Compensation: $90.5/hr+ based on qualifications
