About the role
Specializing in cardiac critical care, you will collaboratively serve pediatric patients with complex heart conditions.
Responsibilities
- Counsel and educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and resources.
- Document care processes per standards and policies.
- Participate in staff and student education and orientation.
- Obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment, manage critical care conditions, and engage in discharge planning.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed in Texas as a Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse with acute care credentials.
- Experience with pediatric cardiac patients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment with sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Work involves manual dexterity, lifting, possible biohazard exposure, and use of PPE.
Pay
Salary starts at $120,000+.
