About the role

The MLP promotes excellence in patient care by advancing the quality, efficient, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles. Assists supervising physician in the management of patients and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.

Responsibilities

• Assists supervising physician in the management of patients and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.
• Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provides education and training to other healthcare providers and staff.
• Contributes to research and scholarly activities related to the field of medicine.
• Engages in administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a PA or NP in the state of [State]
• Current DEA prescription drug authorization
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
