About the role

The MLP promotes excellence in patient care by advancing the quality, efficient, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles. Assists supervising physician in the management of patients and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.

Responsibilities

• Assists supervising physician in the management of patients and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the physician.
• Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provides clinical expertise and support to other providers as needed.
• May participate in research activities related to the field of medicine.
• Contributes to the educational development of students and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of [State]
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
