Advanced Practice Pharmacy Tech

Responsibilities

• Practice within all State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA rules and regulations
• Preparation of prescription orders
• Dispensing knowledge and functionality of automated dispensing machines (ADM)
• Purchase / Inventory Control
• Stocking / Restocking
• Maintain a completely clear and clean workspace at all times (sterile and non-sterile areas)
• Temperature control logs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in or GED Required
• Other / Certificate in Completion of a formalized Technician Training Program. Preferred
• Experience: 1 year pharmacy technician experience or completion of a formalized technician training program. Required 3 years of pharmacy technician experience (retail, hospital, infusion clinics, medication reconciliation or wholesaler experience). Preferred
