Advanced Practice Clinician, Per Diem (Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin preferred)
Role Overview
Provides clinical leadership to enhance quality and cost standards of care through managing inter-professional teams and delivering advanced nursing services. Acts as a clinical authority, leading patient assessments, care planning, and interventions across various settings, including virtual and home visits. Ensures compliance with regulatory and quality standards, collaborates with patients and team members, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Performs procedures within collaborative practice agreements, manages documentation, and supports team performance. May serve as a preceptor and participate in committees and special projects.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Specific Duties
Conducts psychosocial assessments, provides mental health services, and collaborates with psychiatrists.
Qualifications
- Active RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in New York State
- Certification in adult, family, gerontology, or psychiatric-mental health
- Master's degree in nursing
- Certification from ANCC or AANP
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Bilingual skills may be required
- Valid driver's license may be required
- Psychiatric NPs: additional psychiatric experience and certification required
- Maintains current credentials, provider numbers, and adherence to practice agreements
