Advanced Practice Clinician - Bilingual Mandarin/Cantonese

About the role

Provides clinical leadership to enhance compliance with quality and care standards, managing inter-professional teams on individual cases or populations. Acts as a key resource for clinical and operational guidance, delivering advanced nursing care within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines. Works under supervision of the Clinical Director for the Nurse Practitioner Program.

Responsibilities

• Manages full scope of advanced nursing practice, evaluating patient responses and revising care plans to achieve quality outcomes.
• Collaborates on developing and training staff on clinical protocols.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care, including assessments, interventions, treatment ordering, care management, referrals, discharge planning, and patient education.
• Works with patients, families, and team members for assessment and care planning, ensuring compliance with care standards and quality measures.

Requirements

• Current RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in the relevant state, with certification in adult, family, or gerontology health.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field; certification from ANCC or AANP required.
• Minimum two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred; clinical home care or managerial experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of quality measures, coding, and billing requirements; bilingual skills may be required.
• Maintaining credentialing, provider numbers, and compliance with state regulations is expected.
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners require specific certification.
