About the Role

TeamHealth is seeking an advanced practice clinician for interventional pain management services at Parkland Health Center. This role provides excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling. You will work closely with the pain management physician focused on basic injections with minimum medication management.

Prior experience in the field of pain management and an understanding of the various interventional procedural options is preferred. The ideal clinician values a physician-led, team-based approach to care and is comfortable working in close collaboration with the supervising physician. While we promote autonomy and trust in clinical decision-making, we are looking for an APC who embraces partnership, seeks guidance when appropriate, and is receptive to direction regarding patient management and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic interventional pain management injections
• Minimal medication management
• Collaborate closely with supervising pain management physician
• Participate in patient management and treatment planning

Qualifications

• Nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Experience in pain management preferred
• Comfortable with physician-led, team-based care
• Receptive to guidance and direction
