About the Role
Provide direct patient care within established protocols and standards, functioning within approved scope and credentials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate patient assessments, evaluations, and treatments for individuals aged six months to geriatrics.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs and labs, diagnose and manage chronic illnesses like hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
- Promote disease prevention through risk assessment, counseling, and timely completion of Medicare wellness exams.
- Handle emergent medical situations.
- Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
- Perform duties across multiple primary care locations as needed.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of clinical experience, preferably in Family Medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted NP or PA license.
- Board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- DEA registration if prescribing medications.
- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
Skills
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in ordering and interpreting tests.
- Excellent patient education and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EPIC).
- Experience managing high patient volumes.
