The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They ensure radiation safety, maintain high-quality imaging standards, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with NRC regulations and ALARA standards
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Adhere to biohazard safety protocols
• Perform duties requiring physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing
• Demonstrate manual dexterity for various clinical tasks

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program
• Clinical experience in nuclear medicine
• Relevant licensure or certification (e.g., NMTCB or ARRT (N))
