About the Role

Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring radiation safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment
  • Ensure radiation safety following ALARA standards
  • Maintain high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical experience
  • State licensure (if required)
  • Certification from NMTCB or ARRT (N)
  • BLS certification

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of biohazard safety and NRC regulations
  • Strong decision-making and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
