About the Role
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring radiation safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Ensure radiation safety following ALARA standards
- Maintain high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical experience
- State licensure (if required)
- Certification from NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- BLS certification
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of biohazard safety and NRC regulations
- Strong decision-making and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
