Advanced Manufacturing Tech I, 2nd Shift (Dish) in New Bern, NC – Full-time
Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, vision/inspection systems, and PLC systems.
- Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and new technology implementation.
- Monitor production metrics and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Adjust 3-axis CNC parameters for cutting accuracy and quality.
- Reset and manually troubleshoot robotic processes.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and tools to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and clean laser optical lenses to clean room standards.
- Maintain and rebuild silicone application dispensing units and adjust to meet quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve equipment or process issues.
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss efficiency, open issues, and improvements.
- Adjust multiple SEW axes and pneumatic pressures for proper alignment to facilitate welding.
- Adjust cleaning air flow and nitrogen gas flow for optimal weld quality.
- Maintain and adjust Cognex systems for inspection and detection, including 3D camera systems and barcode readers.
- Adjust zero stop points to achieve precise silicone application processes.
- Travel requirement: 10%
Requirements
- High-School Diploma – Required
- Associate degree (Manufacturing) – Preferred
- 3–5 years of experience with a technical background including mechanical and electrical systems – Preferred

Pay
Pay range: $24.79 – $34.15 per hour
Incentive Plan: Annual Bonus Incentive Target %: 1% (payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document)
