About the role

The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), formerly called RCBI, is accepting resumes for a Technical Trainer that will be based at MAMC‑Huntington with additional duties at the Marshall Ohio Valley location in Point Pleasant. This is a full‑time, grant‑funded, exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Designing and providing customized training to meet industry demand
• Assisting with instruction of the Advanced Manufacturing Program centered on the installation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment in a typical manufacturing environment
• Instructing students on a day‑to‑day basis
• Developing lesson plans
• Maintaining student attendance and test records
• Maintaining equipment and inventory of supplies
• Working with the MAMC Industry Advisory Council to maintain industry standards
• Working with local and regional customizers to meet training needs and ensure the latest technologies are available
• Leading in maintaining a safe and clean facility, assuring all safety procedures are followed
• Travel will be required, and the candidate may split time at classroom locations within the service district
• Assisting with technical services and maintenance of MAMC equipment
• Assisting the industrial sector to develop and enhance the region’s industrial capabilities
• Assisting with job placement and recruiting activities for program participants
• Performing other duties as assigned
