Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Provide test and manufacturing support for sub components in the mirror area
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions
• Aid in the development of new products
• Support knowledge transfer for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals
• Test products & software

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Systems, or Software
• 2+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering discipline
• We Value Product or process engineering experience
• Experience with Optics and optical test systems
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
• Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects
• Hands on work ethic
• Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions
• Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions
• Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream)
• Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams
• Root Cause Corrective Action / Lean / Six Sigma

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $105,000.
