Advanced EMT - Located in Winona, MS

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow AEMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain Medstat image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State AEMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS certification.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
• Passing driving record.
• Pass physical agility test.
• Some work experience in healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), State AEMT License, State Driver’s License, BLS certification, NREMT certification, passing driving record, passing physical agility test.
• Prioritize healthcare experience is a plus.
