Advanced EMT - Located in Jackson, MS

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State AEMT License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, NREMT certification
• Passing driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience in healthcare preferred

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Preferred qualifications: Related experience in healthcare
