About the role

The EMT - Advanced role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols.
• Completes EMT-Advanced course requirements.
• Obtains and maintains current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license.
• Maintains valid driver’s license.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
