About the role

The EMT - Advanced role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols.
• Work within the framework of State and local protocols.

Requirements

• Completion of EMT-Advanced course required.
• Current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Currrent BLS certification required.
