Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and assist medical personnel.
• Provide immediate and efficient patient care and stabilization.
• Maintain patient safety during transportation and monitor continuously.
• Transfer patients safely to destinations and ensure proper unit maintenance.
• In emergencies, perform extrication techniques and manage scenes.
• Communicate with dispatch, other services, and hospitals.
• Complete billing reports and maintain vehicle equipment.
• Precept new employees and students.
• Protect confidentiality and refuse unethical practices.

Requirements

• Must meet physical requirements for field operations.
• State registered as EMT-Advance.
• Current driver’s license with F endorsement.
• Current CPR certification from AHA.
• Class D driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability for crisis situations.
• Acceptable driving record.
• At least 18 years old.
