About the role
As an electrical engineer for SLCM-N, you’ll be a member of a cross‑functional team dedicated to the development of military‑grade electronics for the Sea‑Launched Cruise Missile–Nuclear (SLCM‑N) Navy program.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and modify existing electronics in the form of PCB designs
- Generate design and interface documentation
- Design cable assemblies
- Drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
- Conduct research & development including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
- Collaborate with the team and commit to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience with FPGA/VHDL
- Proficient using electrical engineering computer‑aided design (CAD) tools and mixed‑signal circuit analysis/design
- Background in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics
- Research & development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
Clearance requirements
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay
Target salary range: USD $124,216.00/Yr. – USD $137,803.00/Yr. (actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors).
