Owning and Leading
- Designing and building advanced electrical distribution systems, including schematics, wiring harnesses, power electronics, and control modules.
- Developing and testing prototypes in a lab environment.
- Driving analysis, simulation, and validation of HV circuits using industry-standard tools (MATLAB-Simulink, PSPICE, LTSPICE).
Collaboration and Support
- Collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure electrical, thermal, and safety requirements are met.
- Partnering with suppliers for key components, ensuring compliance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contributing to safety-critical documentation (FMEAs, DVP&Rs) and supporting certification efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a regulated design environment.
- Proven expertise in high-voltage DC power distribution, batteries, motors, inverters, and PDUs.
- Hands-on experience debugging and building HV prototypes.
- Skilled in electrical modeling, simulation, and system design.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262, UL, or MIL specifications.
- Collaborative problem-solver with the ability to jump in quickly, learn fast, and deliver results.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in EV systems architecture, BESS, or generator systems.
