About the role

Provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers. Focus on PLC-controlled machines and subsystems. Ensure accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. Drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and replication of technical issues. Build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases. Develop a broad understanding of customer needs. Support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. Help develop Technical Support processes. Ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. Address systemic coordination issues.

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
    • At least 6 years of experience troubleshooting automated material handling equipment
    • Advanced level troubleshooting skills
    • Experience programming and installing Allen-Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, Panel View (HMI), and/or Lenze PLCs
    • Experience troubleshooting VFDs, 3 phase motors, wiring schematics, etc.

    • Experience with SQL, creating queries, and data analysis
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
    • Strong continuous improvement mindset, strong leadership impact
    • Experience with Salesforce.com and SharePoint
    • Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management & Call Center Management
    • Good administration skills
    • Some experience with a variety of the business’ product programming language
